WGIC + BSD

Postby nblx » Apr 08 04 6:05 am

network is run using WinGate via WGIC, so no proxies are installed. All clients are usin WGIC and kinda "happy". The problem is: there is no WGIC in bsd, so I CAN`t connect!
And I do not have access to server (and admin is a total lameass, not willing to change anything)

You will not be able to install WGIC on any other platform than windows. So if there are no proxies, then the only other option open to you would be to use NAT. Do you know if the WinGate server has the ENS installed?! If so then you could just set your default gateway (and DNS) on the BSD machine to point through WinGate, otherwise you're a bit stuck, unless you can talk to your sys admin sweetly?!:-)
