pop collection and mail delete

Postby MastaCico » Sep 27 07 5:21 am

Again a mail question.
Is there a setting to make wingate collect the pop3 account from ISP and delete the mails after eg 3 days such as outlook does?
I need to leave the mail on the ISP server for few days to make laptops and another mail server program be able to download the same emails.

Please let me know

Thanks

Hi

I can't think of a way to get WinGate to do that sorry.

Have you thought of getting the laptop users to download from WinGate instead of the ISP? Maintaining multiple sources of the same mail and synchronising it is a problem. Have you considered using IMAP?

Regards
