Hi

There's an option in the WinGate installer to install it. You'll need to run the installer again.

ENS Not Installed

Postby Darr » Mar 15 08 9:05 am

I have this problem too. I upgraded from 6.0.3/? to 6.1.4/1099 because whenever I enabled NAT in ENS it was killing NetBIOS on my LAN (nothing could even ping wingate; disable NAT and voila - everything sees wingate machine), and ENS was there when that finished but it still had the same problem with NAT. Then noticed I had a newer version already, so installed that one (6.2.2/1137), and I know the ENS box was checked when I installed it, but after rebooting ENS is not installed. I ran the install again, still no ENS. I uninstalled completely, and because the instructions on the activation/deactivation dialog weren't clear I canceled that, but then the uninstall continued immediately without prompting me again... so I reinstalled AGAIN after rebooting (and yes 'ENS' was checked), put my key in and activated it, but still no ENS. I reinstalled over that and rebooted again.
Now I'm here asking what's going on. :-)

It's not asking me to install the mail server as previous versions did, though that IS installed; and even though it's showing me the ENS screen and I check the ENS box (but not the box below that because I have only a dialup connection here, so there's no way to maintain a connection while rebooting), there's no ENS installed when it's all done, no matter how many times I reinstall it.
