Still Internet Access after open and close the Browser

Hi,

I am using Basic Authentication for WWW Proxy Server Port 80,
but my users can still get Internet access 25 secs after they have
closed their Browser without having to log in again.

I would like my users to log in again every time if they close their Browser.

Does anyone know how to do it.

The problem is with Basic Authentication there. It only gives you a security level of "Assumed". When all connections from a given machine is closed, there is a small window where the machine remains in an "Assumed" state. (Or would go to "Assumed" if it was "Authenticated").

This is simply to allow people to reconnect easily - so that if, for example, you close your IE window, then open another one, you don't have to login again, etc.

The easiest way to fix this might be to move up to another authentication method.
