Wingate & Citrix

Postby Stef » Apr 08 05 8:17 pm

Hi,

After upgrading from Wingate 4.50 to 6.0.4 we discovered much improvements but can't find a way to configure group & user policies.
We use the authentication based on Active Directory. Everyone has all the rights ( also when policies are defined... )

Another problem is when 2 users are on the same Citrix server, one logs on to gatekeeper ( to surf ) & the other doesn't have to log on anymore.

Can u guys help me out ?

Thx :)

On the first issue, you would need to set up access policies in WinGate to assign or deny rights to your users and groups. The help file has a fair amount of information on this.

On the second issue, you can get WinGate to support your Citrix server with multiple accounts by defining a Multi-user IP in GateKeeper, and inputting the IP address of your Citrix server.

then when WinGate receives connections from this IP address, it won't inherit any credentials associated with that IP, so all users will be asked to authenticate.

This feature is available in the trial version, but if you purchase, you would need to purchase an enterprise license.
