BAN LIST ISSUES

hi all,
i have installed wingate 6.0 on my xp pc, wanna use it as a proxy. i have added a user and have enabled ban list. but as per the list no ban is been implimented. for e.g i have banned [the critertion is met if] HTTP URL CONTAINS "MAIL" .
So please tell me any suggestions to ban list issues.

Make sure the proxy is set to ignore the system policies, in case the system policies are overriding your ban list and granting access to your users.

WWW Proxy Server -> Policies -> Change the default rights to are ignored.
