Multi thread downloading limit

I want to limit users multi thread downloading, can wingate add this founction ?
because some guys like using some download soft lik Thunder, and eats a lot of bandwidth
maybe a policies that do limit per users connections on per url or server ip is very well

You can use WinGate to control bandwidth.

This is probably the best way, as number of connections doesn't always correlate to amount of resource used.

control bandwidth only works in ENS
but in my most user use www and socks proxy

sure, but these also go through ENS, so you can still apply bandwidth policy to them.

You could try installing one of the plugins for WinGate. When a plugin is installed and active, it will prevent multi threaded downloads through the WWW Proxy by stripping out the range header from HTTP requests. Your clients will be restricted to a single thread per download as a result.
