We are replacing the computer that ran Wingate. Do I just backup the wingate registry tree and import that on the new computer ? Should I first upgrade the old computer to latest version of wingate and then backup the registry ? Is there a document that explains how to move wingate and keep all the settings ? We use wingate as a proxy and also to collect email.

Make sure you have the lastest build of the version you are running.
Export the registy - either via regedit or WinGate Advanced tools.
Install WinGate on the new computer. Stop the WinGate engine. Import the old registry. Start the engine.
Should work with no problem.
