How to ban the receipt of Emails from a specific email add.

Hello,

We would like to ban the incomming of external email from a specific email address ( e.g. An email from 123xyz@hotmail.com need to be quarantined or withheld by Wingate upon checking by a user and this will be released ONLY if the administrator want it to be.). Is there a way to do that please ?

Current System we have is --> Wingate Ver 6.1.0 ( Build 1068 ) with Kaspersky Antivirus 2.0 and Puresight 2.0 for Wingate ). The way that email is setup on Wingate is "Use Gateway" to send Emails and the default check boxes in Delivery Tab.

Objective of doing this ---> It's not only because of viruses, but more specifically has something to do with some sick guys sending jokes, chain letters, stories, well....all sorts of unproductive stuff !

WinGate can block mail from a certain sender address, but not quarantine it sorry.

Well better this (blocking the email) than nothing. Can you please tell me the steps how we can achieve this ?

Hi

Add an entry to the ban list for the policy for SMTP server.

Ban where sender address is/contains the email you want to block.

You'll need to make sure that the SMTP server isn't using system policies.
