Wingate can not terminate HTTP-connections by time out

Postby CPA3Y » May 26 06 11:52 pm

2 weeks ago we reinstalled WinGate (6.1.1) and found one problem. Assumed users connect through WinGate HTTP-proxy and when they stop browsing, WinGate leave connection alive. If user start browsing again, WinGate create new connection. Now we every day terminate sessions manually :( How we can do it automatically?
Option "Session timeout after 60 seconds of inactivity" in "WWW Proxy server properties -> Sessions" checked.

Hi

It's normal for browsers to keep a connection alive to the server, or proxy server (if they are configured to use a proxy).

Internet Explorer normally terminates an unused connection within about a minute.

So how long are these sessions staying alive? Are they growing all the time? I.e. do you keep getting more and more and more session?
