routing by port

Postby apt » May 23 14 2:48 am

Hi Adrien

I have a scenario where I have 3 gateways on a network - I want to route all port 80 traffic through one gateway and all port 25 and 587 through another - how would I achieve this. I know I can put a route in and do the rerouting based on the destination IP - problem is my 587 traffic will go to different destinations so I just want it all out of a different gateway

Hi

I think I answered you in our support desk on this?

in any case, you can do it with TCP mapping proxies, intercept the ports you're interested in, and disable default mapping, and have no specific mappings. Then it will connect out to the original destination, but also allow you to specify which gateway to use.
