can't make a call used Mediaring talk from client

Postby aridlaw » Jan 18 04 4:19 am

I try to use Media ringtalk to make phone to outside from Client, and can't make it work.

I have instal wingate5.22 (build892) , firewall ON, Puresight ON at 30% adult content, use NAT, and transparent redirect for WWW. Sock5 open

When I try to call, gatekeep appear connection make from client to IP of mediaringtalk server, but after a moment, the error message appear "Problem when try to connect with Gatekeep"
I had try both way used NAT and sock5 , but still unlucky

If I call from my server 192.168.0.1, can call to outside without any problem.

I try to open these port as Media ringtalk guide working behind firewall
51719 - 51720 TCP and UDP
1800 - 1810 TCP and UDP for sock 5 connect
I still can't connect with mediaringtalk server to make a call

Any suggestion ?

P/S: about Gateleep problem , thanks for Pascal advise, I was follow your instrustion and solve problem. Peace

Try setting up the ports you specified as redirects to the Mediaring device / client, rather than opening the holes only. That might do the trick for you.

Finally, Wingate version 5.2.3 beat it

Now I happy to make some call from client desktop
It work with both HTTP and Sock5

Thank you your guy who make wingate day better day.
