ftp download and failed authorisation

Postby rtchong » Jan 31 04 2:12 am

I'm trying to download updates but after having agreed to the download policy nothing happens. In the Wingate Nat.log I found the following reports:

01/29/04 15:48:22 192.168.0.2 Administrator 0000013631 Requested: NAT: TCP Connection to 160.33.82.5:21
01/29/04 15:48:25 160.33.82.5 Guest 0000013632 Requested: NAT: TCP Connection to ibm2:2681
01/29/04 15:48:25 160.33.82.5 Guest 0000013632 Failed authorisation: NAT: TCP Connection to ibm2:2681
01/29/04 15:48:25 160.33.82.5 Guest 0000013632 Traffic 0 0 0 0 0s
01/29/04 15:48:26 160.33.82.5 Guest 0000013633 Requested: NAT: TCP Connection to ibm2:2682
01/29/04 15:48:26 160.33.82.5 Guest 0000013633 Failed authorisation: NAT: TCP Connection to ibm2:2682

Basically the questions is: How can I allow an outside source to connect to certain, at the time of my request unknown, ports? How to keep it safe?

I am using ENS.

Thanks.
