Hi, MattP
Thanks for your reply. After changing my internal NIC's IP address back to 192.168.0.1, it does not make any change. When I try to connect to the internet using the client machine, the brower still resposnse the "HTTP 404 - File Not Found" error. I have already disabled the both WinGate firewall and the WINS service but it seems that they made no use.
Also, whenever an internet connection is attempted, I notice the GateKeeper records something in history. They are as follows:
Time Computer Username WG Username IP Address Application Activity Duation Bytes In Bytes Out
05-Feb 13:28:40 SCG0205 <empty> Guest 192.168.0.101 N/A

The Route Table for the client is as follows:

By the way, if I turn off the "
Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP" on both my 2000 server and XP client, is it still possible for me to browse these computers in the workgroup? Many thanks.
