Giving access back to some sites ( Black Hole ???? )

Feb 14 04 11:53 am

Hi,

There are many users who have access to Internet in our Organisation. Most of them was accessing sites forbidden by the company policy.

On the Activity tab of Wingate ( Latest version ), while these users were browing we can see the sites they access. I once right clicked on the sites and chosen "Prevent Access". Now, everytime a user ( Even the Server ) want to access this site, i have a message which appear on the System Messages stating that IP XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX has been blocked access to the site.

Now, I want to give access back again, but i do not know where to remove it. I have gone through the Black Hole list, Ban list, everything, but i cannot come across the site i prevented the access previously.

Please advise what should i do to resolve above problem,

Thank you
Salim

Hi there

You will find that this policy has been set as a system policy found under the Users tab(Pane) in Gatekeeper.
You can locate the particular policy under the Ban list tab for the user (usually everyone) found by clicking on the System policies Icon in the User tab pane.

Erwin
