I would like to have the ability to use 2 Cable Modems that I pay for on one computer. I have installed a second NIC card into this computer. Which Version of Winagte should I consider using?
When I go to install it, it says either sever or client?>? Which one..I think I am the server...

We always recommend to go for the latest version - you can download it from our Web site and have 30 days trial.

I did download the latest (a month ago) and used my credit card to purchase it for 1 computer..My question is when you set it up you have Client and server. I guess I want to be the server..I am the machine with the 2 nic cards and nothing else goes through me..Is there a tutorial on setting it up for use with 2 nic's and 2 cable modems? I am not too sure how to configure the web page too..That is, logging into the tracker and having it see both of the IP's I am from..Also, I see the rotation thing and that may solve it, bit the one site (for school work) allows us to share the files and we have to have the IP associated with our account to work. As I said I have to cable modems and would like to use them and also browse the we normally...So, there we go...
The thread below us is exactly what I hope to do...
" Wingate, two modems, bittorent + network.. lol help :)"

Installation is fairly straightforward unless you want to add some policy stuff - Wingate documentation is quite good - help file is installed, too, so all you need to do is to click on wingate.hlp file.

Unless I am missing something here, do you mean you added a third NIC?
(One to each cable modem and one to the internal network) All must be on differnet subnets and since most cable modems use dynamic addresses, each NIC must be able to get its own IP and gateway from the cable company. The internal NIC must be static and show no default gateway.

The machine that you will be using as your internet gateway (The one with the cable modems attached to it) will have a WinGate Server installed on it. Depending on the connection method you choose for your client machines you may or may not install a WinGate Internet Client on them.
