Hi ,
I have a single fixed ip from starband 360. I want to install 2 ip cams in my lan. I actually access them from the specific local private ips: 192.168.0.100 and 101.
I understand i may access them from outside the lan after defining web servers from"non-proxy request"., assigning them to ports like 8080, 808x et.
My actual fixed ip from starband is 149.68. etc
How do i access the cams? what ip should i type from the net?
Thank you for the help

Hi there
As a suggestion you could always create two seperate TCP mappings to the WinGate server which map to the approriate IP and port of each particular camera.
E.G. create a TCP mapping in WinGate which is bound to the External Interface and has a specific service ports such as 2345, and 2346.
So clients simply type in the external IP with the particular port. The mapping will be configured to "enable default mapping" to the Internal IP of the particular camera.
For instance typing http//:203.43.45.1:2345
Will connect to WinGate which will inturn send it through to the Webcam 1. behind WinGate. and typing http//:203.43.45.1:2346 will be mapped to Webcam 2.
I would suggest you take a read of how to implement TCP mappings in the WinGate helpfile to see if it suits your scenario.
Regards
Erwin
