Hi there

Do you mean you want to limit the assumed user to only visiting 3-4 sites through WWW. If this is the case then you will need to do two things first.

1. You will need to create a user assumption(select the Assumed Users config under the users tab in GateKeeper) that if a user connects from an IP address(the clients workstation) then it is the particular user.
This way WinGate will be to tell "who" is connecting and so be able to apply the particular policy.

2. If your clients are using NAT then you will have to enable Transparent Redirection on the sessions tab in the WWW proxy Server in GateKeeper. This way all of their WWW surfing will be forced through the proxy where you can implement the site restriction policy in the usual fashion.

Make sure when configuring this policy in the WWW proxy server, that who you select to apply it to on the recipient tab is set to "User is assumed".

Also ensure that once you have finished check on the Policy tab in the WWW make sure that the "system policies are set to "are ignored" below the Recipeint Rights window.

Hope this helps

Erwin
