Binding

Hello...i'm having a problem with my wingate. I have everything configured but in the WWW Proxy Server gives me the message:

" ID Object USER
0506 WWW Proxy Server SYSTEM


Service Startup complete or partial failure - check your bindings"

When i go to bindings in the status of the adapter is error.

How can i fix this?

Hi Marco,

Do you have another service running on port 80? This would cause a conflict that would prevent the WWW proxy service running on that port. Try setting the proxy port to 8080 and see if that works.

If it does you can do a NETSTAT -AN command in a dos window to find out if there is something listening on port 80, it's usually a web server.

I check your opinion and I found that the IIS was running. It started automaticli whrn the server reestarted.
