I can'nt see domain name address in Activity Tabs

hi,
i install wingate 5.2.3 on win2k server SP4 (Active Directory is running).
i have 2 ethernet adapter on my server. One is connect to ADSL router and other is connect to local network.
i stoped wingate DNS and DHCP because on my server running win2k dhcp and dns.
the client computer on local network can connect internet via wingate successfully. But in Activity Tabs or History Tabs, i see only web sites ip addresses (for expample 256.156.4.25). i can'nt see domain names (URL) (for expample. www.hotmail.com)
i install wingate but i will monitoring which web sites are client users connect. but now i can'nt see web site domain name adress. I see only web ip adress...
what is problem ???

I have the same problem.

If you are using NAT, that will be the case. Your Client PC does a DNS lookup, which travels through WinGate DNS, but the client gets the DNS response and then uses that to connect to the IP address, not the name. Hence, all WinGate sees is the IP address.

If you want to see the names / URLs, switch on Intercepts / Transparent Redirection for the WWW Proxy Service. This will push your NAT traffic on port 80 through the WWW Proxy Service, which will then show you the appropriate URL. This gives you the added benefit of using the more advanced WWW Proxy Service policies, as well as having access to Data Scanning Plugins, etc.
