My boss ask me write a ASP program to manager Wingate user
database (ps: Add/delete/modify via webpage)
I can read/write registry in my ASP code, so I almost finish
my code.
The only problem is: Wingate store user password as "encoded"
format, not plain text.
I don't need decode the password hash, I just need encode the
password (from ASP),, How can I do?
Are there any option setting can let Wingate store password with
plain text? or?
Thanks~

Or, are there some command line utility can let me add user?
for example:
GateUser <add|del> <Groupname> <username> <password>

Hi I know this is an old thread and I am pulling up the past, however
Is there available a utility to create / change passwords instead of using gatekeeper? I need a scriptable utility.
- Code:
gkadmin.exe -user guest -setpassword abc
would be lovely
Any chance?

Apologies - however I am going to bump this again.
I have noticed in the Telnet Command Shell I can enable and disable users? Surely its a trivial matter to add the ability to set passwords? Since its already secured by the nature of the command shell logon / passwords that has to be set up? Please?
