Does not run in Windows 2003

I have Wingate 4.5.0 running on a Windows 2003 server which is not the AD machine. I downloaded version 5.2.3 to test it and it does not run, the icon in the system tray (the little PC) stays yellow trying to run. Version 4.5.0 runs fine although it is slow; the workstations accessing the internet through the proxy service takes too long compared to the response time of the old Windows NT server.
Please give me advice.

Hi

How do your client machines access the internet? Through NAT (ENS), or by proxy? Or using the WinGate client?

Do you have a Kaspersky AntiVirus product installed ? (Not the plugin for WinGate, another one)

Yes, I have Visnetic Anti Virus for Networks from Kaspersky Labs installed in this server.

Try the suggestion in this post IF you are not running a plugin to WinGate. That might help your problem. We have fixed this for our next release.
