does wingate need to b installed on the clients or can it just b installed on the server and thats it?

It has to be installed on all the clients. That's one.
Two is that you have to configure them both, which can make you scream like someone insane, not even counting the probable urge to throw massive things at your box.
That is - if you are in a time-critical situation.

Hello
me thinks its good to install wingate on all clients computer...I mean which will be WGIC (Wingate internet client) and with NAT enabled on the server everything including Yahoo voice andweb cam should work without a problem. The internet for client computer will work even though the Wingate is not installed on their computers

In my 100+ user installation we do not install WinGate on the client systems.
This allows us to manage everything from the WinGate server.
We utilize both NAT and WWW Proxy to meet our requirements along with other services such as SMTP Server.
We've had this configuration for years with no problems.
