Remember, when downloading files, it sometimes cuts out and i end up getting the file corrupted......
i know this is a proxy issue, because i use the net direct without proxy it downloads fine..

Other problem, my ban messages i modified in the registry dont display,IE gets in the way and displays unauthorised?

i also read somewhere i can change the ban message to a html file, is this possible.??

At least a reply would be helpful.

IE6, in my experience, seems to need to have the option 'show friendly HTTP messages' unchecked before something other than the generic MS message comes with.

Have you tried upgrading to 5.2.3 to see if FTP probs. are solved?
