Dial up problem

Hi to all

I am currently using trial version of WinGate 5.2.3. Build 901. Few days it was working fine, but when I changed ISP, dial-up problem occurs. I have changed dial-up connection, DNS addresses and nothing else. From that moment, I cannot establish connection with internet. After sending request form browser, dialer status is “connecting” for about one minute. After that, when it is connected, I cannot surf cause there is no data transfer. Na pages can be opened. What shall I do? Please help!

Hi there

Have you configured and enabled the new Dialup connection in the dialer config in GateKeeper.? WinGate will have a system message stating that a new dialup profile has been found upon engine start.

Usually you will be asked to enter the login details in the config as well.

Hello,
Yes, I have configured new connection, but nothing. In addition, I have tried to install new fresh copy of Windows XP pro (which I am using) for testing only, Wingate on it - and nothing. Always the same. Maybe ISP is problem?!

p.s. I am also trying Kerio Winroute Firewall and it is working fine with the same provider, but it is slowing down network communication and I will use it only if I must[/size]
