Proxy server error

Hi I am using wingate 5.2.3. on a Win2k3 Server

Everything was fine & sudenly my www proxy server (80) stop running so my users can not browse on the Internet. They can send/recieve emails with no problem. I made NO changes at all.

My bindings show ERROR.

Where can I start looking for the fail?

Any help?

Hi,

Did you try restarting the WinGate engine? If the bindings are still showing an error you should check that your network cards are all functioning properly. Is the error only showing up in the www proxy?

Thanks for your answer...

Now they are working fine. I changed the default web site port to 8080. I need this to be installed because I use the remote desktop.

Before this issue the bindings were working fine and the defult web site port was 80.

Why it happened just like that?

If you already have a service running on port 80 then the WWW proxy service won't be able to start, are you running a web server? Have you done a virus scan lately?
