"solve all of your internet connection sharing hassles" by first of all removing wingate from your box. I have used it, configurated it until it worked, and so on. My conclusion:
It's like a multi-water-pipe, dynamic temperature-measuring, self cleaning, cold-fusion-powered, inertially-balanced tea-pot. While all you need is to boil some water.
You don't need those features. You just need to share the connection. You might do it with spoonproxy for instance. And I guarantee that you will configure it in less than 5 minutes, it will work, and furthermore, everything you needed in Wingate is present there. More, it's hard to break it :D
To you, wingate programmers - power in simplicity! Believe me, if you concentrate only on internet connection sharing... and it's utter, unmasked, unwizarded, real simplicity, then your product will be better[/b]

This from the man who previously said
Currently I'm running on spoonproxy, but it's really crappy.
I don't want to sacrifice functionality for simplicity.
Like any product, WinGate is right for some and not for others.

I Second That Larry,
I drive a VW Sedan and that is all I need. Now if I wanted more and better, I would get an Audi - actually a VW in disguise.
WinGate has severed me well for nearly three years and if I want it to be an Audi, it is all there waiting to be discovered.
So let's use the Forum to help those users with a bit less experience on this excellant product. And if some wish to drive something else, then that's their choice.
Regards, Warren
P.S. I just remembered that three years ago, I called in some experts to help with my Internet Connection. That was before I knew WinGate existed and the "know everthings" recommended a cheapy, no frills, bargain-basement product from the Internet. Guess what? They could never get it to work. So I went searching by myself and found WinGate. I have no regrets.
Not sure why I paid the experts, but I did. Maybe I just wanted to get them out of my hair
