Hi,
When I try to connect to a bank site, the WG Firewall blocks the responses from the bank. I have the IP range the bank is using and it uses several ports in it's attempts to contact my computer. What I think it's doing is to ping my computer in order to see if the connection is alive, or possibly send some sort of certificate or such to me.
I'm using a Macintosh and Netscape version 7. The WG server is of version 5.2.2. And I've tried 5.2.3, but it blocks the whole network so I don't want to try and install it again.
I wonder if there is a possibility to allow the IP range to at least ping the WG computer so the connection isn't dropped? As I've understood it, it's possible to allow certain ports to be accessed, but as it's an range of approx 300 ports, I'm not too happy with allowing all of those access.
Please help me find a solution.
Thanks!
Johan

Hi,
What protocol does your bank use? Is it one of the standard Homebanking protocols?

I'm not sure which protocol they use, but I got these crypto keys to install with Netscape and then I think it's PKI that is used during the communication.
I just got a connection, but when I closed it and tried again it didn't work. It's very confusing. Could it be on how we connect to the WG server? We have a hetrogenous network with several PC:s and just one Mac and when I look on the Network tab it looks like the Mac doesn't belong to the domain. Do I have to set up some special rules for it?
