Problem over opening new port!

Jun 02 04 12:38 am

Dear User, If you are behind a firewall or within a company local area network (LAN), you will need to open outgoing TCP connections to Port 51215 on your proxy server.

this error message i get when i go to a website where my client use sms services from site ... any idea how to fix it?

Outbound connections are opened automatically (provided firewall settings and user policies permit). Inbound connections should be opened manually - open the ENS properties dialog, switch to Port security page and create new entry "Connection from the Internet" setting up the port number (51215) and redirection information.

I tried to follow ur instruction but it didn't work.. please tell me detail settings after clicking ADD in "Port Security" Page

When you click on the Add button, you'l be presented with a dialog that allows you to specify the protocol you are going to punch the hole for, port numbers that you want to be open (in your case it will be 51215-51215). Then, if you just want to allow this traffic to reach your Wingate machine system you just click on Allow radiobox. If you want this traffic to be rerouted to your client machine behind Wingate, you have to specify the IP address of this client machine in the Edit box marked as "Redirect to". Then you'd better click checkbox marked as "Do not change source address". That's pretty much it.

Well, let's start from the beginning- I thought you needed to open an inbound port, i.e. allowing someone to connect to your internal computer from the outside. Is it the case? If yes, then in the settings for this port you might consider adding "Redirect packet" information.
If the traffic you were required to pump through originated from the inside of your network bastion coming to an outside computer then normally it is handled automatically (provided that Wingate settings were not altered after the installation).
Also, make sure that the protocol you need is TCP - otherwise you have to open a hole for UDP packet as well.
