Hello forum,
i´m testing the actual beta 3 of Wingate 6 which works fine. I don´t have any problems with instable service or so, but one thing doesn´t won´t to work like i do: The caching.
Wingate is in my eyes on of the best caching proxies, but with the actual beta i have an unknown problem. I´m testing the actual beta on a windows 2003 server, but the caching doesn´t keep it´s cached content over night. Yesterday there have been about 200MB inside the cache folder, today there are only about 30MB. I don´t have done any cache cleaning, so i don´t know, why the cache purged.
Why does this happen and how can i fix this?

There is by default an internal maintenance schedule task that runs close to midnight that will purge the cache.
Look in the Scheduler in WinGate, and if there is a task in there that includes an action to purge the cache, you can remove this action.

Thanx Adrien, i removed the purge task and now i´m waiting for tomorrow morning and the size of my cache folder....
