ftp AS400 problem

Hello,

I have an iserver IBM with OS/400 V5R2 directly on internet and i cannot enter in the FTP server of this AS400 through wingate, directly on internet it is working but not through wingate 5.2.3 or 6 beta 1 or 2. bypass with www proxy server or ftp proxy server it is not working. Have you a solution ??

Right. What is the topology of this setup? Is the client behind WG of the server behind WG?

it is the client behind wingate, the as400 is behind NAT with a router

Sorry, I re-read the first message and found the answer there. Looks like the FTP server is blocked by another firewall - can you connect to this FTP server without being behind Wingate?

yes i can enter directly on internet, but not bypass wingate.

i can give you the ip and the login / password to test (in private)

What client are you using?

normally i use IE for access at this page with a link ftp://IP3**********@*.no-ip.com . i have use a client ftp for have a log, it is smartFTP.

Can you test with Internet Explorer bypass Wingate to access at this link ftp://IP3**********@*.no-ip.com with the www proxy server.
