Hi!
I have a LAN with an W2K domain. I've installed the wingate on a win2k pro. I do connect to internet through dsl, and i do surf from the server (the machine with wingate installed on). But i can't connect to ANY service from the others machines.
The machines can view each others in "network neighboor" and answers ping as well.
I've checked the interfaces configuration, and the service www is started.
What can i do?

Hi there
You will be able to reach the Internet on the machine with WinGate installed it has been designed not to affect Internet access on the machine it is installed.
Since you are running a Win2000 domain, I take it you must be running active directory. There are several things you need to do in order to get WinGates to work properly in this environment.
Take a read of our knowledgebase articles on configuring WinGate in the active directory which you can find here under the general networking section:

Hope this helps

Hi
make sure that you have a valid external DNS server specified in the DNS resolver in WinGate.
Then no matter what your active directory does for DNS, WinGate should still be able to do DNS resolution to the Internet.
