Our IT guy is on vacation and I am trying to limit which users are allowed to access all WinGate services. We are using WinGate as a DHCP server for access to the Internet. I only want certain users to have access to the Internet, and since WinGate is only being used for that purpose, I'd like to ban them completely. I don't want to do it through WWW Proxy because it's only port 80 and I don't want to add ports, etc. Just a simple ban from all services.
I have already created users and assumed them to their corresponding IP addresses. So to which policy do I add them?

Hi,
This is not ideal but one method I use is to create a System Policy in the 'Everyone' group.
This denies the IP addresses[s] of client's access.
Then, I apply the policy in the services to be denied 'System Policies must also be granted' to deny access.
A bit of a difficult approach, if DHCP reservations are not used to ensure the same client[s] are allocated the same address each lease.
I wonder what would happen if you created a new group, add to this group the names of the clients to be denied access and create a filter, maybe like Server name contains '.' for example might work.
