Cannot access outside server

Jul 15 04 6:57 am

I have wingate configured to have certain users restricted by time on the internet. I also have it so certain www sites are allowable. ALl of this works fine. We use income tax software that we use to electronically file tax returns. When users are a member of these restricted groups. They can not connect to transmit the files. I can see the error. AUthentication failed. User xxx requested NAT : TCP COnnection to 198.31.208.140:10099. I tried putting in a filter that says Allow access if Server IP contains 198.31.208, however that is in the www service and this must be using a different protocol.

ANy thoughts?
Thanks - Dave

Sound slike you either have a System Policy or an ENS Policy that has required users to auth. Make sure that each of these (unless needed otherwise) has a policy of 'Everyone - Unrestricted Rights' in it's policy tab. For the ENS you could set the 'Default Rights' to 'System Policies are Ignored' and then just make sure that the policy in ENS is set as above.
