Wingate not starting up properly with WNIC

Jul 17 04 5:23 am

This small network is all laptops, and all connected using 802.11b.

When the server laptop starts up, it appears that Wingate loads before the WNIC initializes. It is an internal "Dell Wireless WLAN 1350 Mini-PCI Card", and is set to a static IP (192.168.0.1). When WinGate starts up, there are several errors that the interface (192.168.0.1) does not exist. However, by the time I can even get into gatekeeper, the WNIC is up and running, and I need to re-bind every service to that interface.

This is not very difficult to do every time the server laptop needs to be rebooted, but this is not my network. The client is not very computer literate, and even though I'm able to dial-in with VNC & reset the service bindings for them every time they reboot, they're getting very tired of having to call me & have me do so.

This is version 5.2.3, Build 901.
