gatekeeper popup not working.

I have a network of 50pcs and gatekeeper is working fine on 49 of them.

The one i am having problems with, is running Win XP. This PC has worked with gatekeeper before, but reciently, the popup window for logging in is blank (all grey). The login and password boxes do not appear.

I have a working PC right next to it, and all of the IE settings are completely duplicated. I checked twice. The proxy information is the same. it is all the same, why can you not see the boxes?

Very frustrating. I have checked your KB, and no info there will help.

Oh. btw, i am using Version 5.0.1, as a proxy, and gatekeeper user login.

The best way to 'reset' Gatekeeper is to delete (or rename):

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Qbik Software

from your registry on the client machine (of course making sure Gatekeeper is closed first)

NOTE: Before making any changes to your registry make sure that you have made a suitable backup. Also in this case note that it is HKEY_CURRENT_USER and not HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE that needs editting.

I deleted the current user\software\qbik software.

the local_machine\software\qbik software has empty entries (nothing there)

I tried it, still blank popup. I deleted the local machine entry and tried it. Still a blank popup.

The reason i tried that is because the PC that works, does not have any entries with qbik software nor has it any entries relating to gatekeeper. (I searched the register for those terms)

I made sure that the popup was indeed empty by trying multiple clicks and tab keys to try to get the window to show up.

The machine that doesn't work, I exported the Qbik Software section before deleting it.

Any ideas?

I have the same tomorrow on WinGate Server that GateKepper just start all greyed no box to enter pass.
When I click on LogOut icon the window apear, but after fill pass GateKepper like before just gray.

After Stop Engine and Start again GateKepper work OK.
I don't know I will check today evening (after 48 till WG start)

never mind, I checked and he had not patched IE for a very long time. I patched Win XP and IE to current patches, and it works fine.
