I need some advice here. A client want to build a VPN net, linking the main office with 6 others across the city. They use wireless broadband conexions, using a third party ISP.
The main office has to be the VPN server. I think in Wingate, because they need also natting service for the internal network (25 PCs) in the main office and a mail server too. So, Wingate is the best offer to me.
The six sites have 3 PCs in each one. One of this will be the main gateway for the other 2.
So, the advice I need is about the licenses I need to buy. What license must buy to cover all the installation? I must buy separate Wingate for the main office and VPN clients for the 6 sites, or I can buy the ilimited users license to cover the installation?
Regards.

Hi Jason,
For this setup you will need one WinGate license for the main office, you can probably use a 25 concurrent user license for the main office. This will allow the 25 computers to share the internet connection. You will also have to purchase a VPN license for the WinGate server, the number of licenses that you will need will depend on how many machines on the head office LAN need to access the VPN, or be accessed by the remote computers.
For each remote site you will need one 3 user VPN license.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Matt
