Trial Licence Problem

Hi

ive just installed wingate 6.0 final and requested a trial licence. it was successful but i still cant login to gatekeeper properly... it opens up and asks for password but i cant see any features because it says im unlicensed even tho i have a trial license

:) You are right. I think the message is there but it is not as visible as it should to be.

mmmm well i just reinstalled it but i didnt see anything about needing an engine restart

anyways congrats on a brilliant piece of server software :)

actually there is another problem.... my reinstall wont let me get a trial licence for the VPN. it worked on my first install but this 2nd install gives me the following error when requesting it....

error: the license file is invalid

Are you trying to install the new one on the same machine?

Hi

What is your computer name, I can find your trial activation and remove it, then you will be free to reactivate it.

Also, note that if you have a trial key for WinGate, it gives you all the features that a VPN activation would give you anyway, you don't actually get anything more.

name = ALPHA
isp = optus... incase u needed it

ok ill just use the wingate trial for it
and just so u know, i deleted the VPN license file and tried it again and still get that same error

EDIT: oopsies the name is ALPHA, its a virtual pc and i was thinkin of the system im running the vpc on :\

OK, it's gone.

You should be able to reactivate now.
