Hi there,

Is this IP important for WINGATE?

' Whether or not your computer has a network interface card it will have a "built in" IP address with which network aware applications can communicate with one another. This IP address is defined as 127.0.0.1 and is frequently referred to as "localhost" '
I couldn't think of a way to define it - the good people at Linux Home Networking (Of all places ?) had a good description on their site. It's not deletable, it belongs to the 'system' as it were.

Thanks Pascal, I'll check it out tomorrow .
Anyway, tomorrow I'll install and setup a new Internet Server with the new version of wingate, we just bought that one and I'll see I've the same problem.
Thanks again and best regards from Thailand
