ADSL Connection

hi,

I usually use local ISP for my internet connection, but now i have a new one. it's an ADSL type.

I just use ADSL connection today, but each time tried to start the wingate engine and it won't run.

Did wingate compatible with this type of connection ?

WinGate is compatible with all connection types since it uses the Windows Operating system to make these connections. ADSL is a very common connection type so I hardly think this is a compatibility issue.

When you try to start the WinGate engine, does the WinGate Engine Monitor icon in your system tray turn yellow to indicate that the engine is starting, but remains yellow and never turns blue to indicate that the engine has started? If so, your history files may have become corrupt. The following forum thread contains details on how to reset the history files

I see....so the history is the problem...

but I couldn't find both of the history files mentioned...as I just install the wingate and haven't use any internet access yet.

the other thing is I couldn't uninstall them, it says couldn't found install log file..

is there any other way to do safe uninstall so that i can re-install them.
