I've never used vpn before so i'm a but green about things but here goes.
My current config is a wingate server with an ISDN connection one side with a fixed ip address. the other is a private LAN in the 192.168.X.X range. I have just added a linksys WAP to that side and all is well.
Now my company laptop has a 54G card and the company wants me to be able to set up a vpn to them. They believe that they can install some software on my laptop for this.
This means the vpn tunnel will be between my latop, though the wingate machine to my company, not actually using Qbiks vpn software (not my choice). Will wingate be able to deal with this??

PPTP yes no problem. Otherwise if your company is using an IPSEC VPN, then it needs to be able to support nat-traversal (which basically means using UDP for the tunnel packets).
