Mirroring log details to remote syslog server

I have used WinProxy as my Firewall/Site Filtering/Perimeter A/V for many years now, but since it is being discontinued, I am evaluating WinGate as a possible replacement.

It does not look like WinGate can be configured to mirror activity details to a remote syslog server. I have used this feature in the past, with WinProxy to mirror the activity to my UNIX syslog server for archiving and traffic analysis.

Is this feature in WinGate and I just did not recognize it?

No, Wingate does not directly support this at the moment. The next version, however, will be able to do this.

As an interim solution a simple script can be written to relay Wingate history and log records to a remote syslog.
