History recording problem

In the beginning of the year, I had some problems with MTUs that caused WG to hang. I then disabled history recording as it wasn't needed. Now I had to enable it again, only to find that the problem is back. I just have a simple filter, ComputerName=10.1.3.19 to record history for 1 client. After a few days, WG hangs and I must stop/Delete history and start again.

Anything I can try or other system settings that could affect the working of the ancient .dbf files? Or is it maybe something else?

We have recently noticed that having history filters set can cause stability problems in WinGate.

Try using a viewing filter instead of a recording filter so that you only see the history for that one client computer instead of only recording history for that computer.

If you still have problems with stability, disabling the history filters all together should solve your problem.
