Hi

This is a known issue with using version 4.x keys in WinGate 6.0

We have a fix for it here, we are about to release a new maintenance release which will fix this issue. In the mean time, are you able to request a trial activation and use that?

Hi

If you can email me your trial activation file to adrien at qbik dot com I can extend your trial activation.

then you would re-activate your trial, and it should come up with the new date.

We should be releasing a maintenance release to fix this probably tomorrow.

Hi Adrien,

It's me again, remember neujron? I was the 1st who got the problem for this "An unsupported operation was attempted" error. I have noticed on your last reply for this (Aug. 31), you've mentioned that you're going to release a patch (probably Sep 1) for the older versions trying to activate to latest version. Is this out already? I haven't got your notice yet.

I asked you this because our trial version will be expiring on Sep 15, that's 9 days from now to be exact.

Thanks.

We haven't released the maintenance version yet - it's still in testing. It should be, to quote Larry, Real Soon Now. I'd expect within a few days, we're just making sure that everything we've changed in there is good.

Thanks for the info Pascal, that's good quality and reliability assurance. We'll be waiting for your final release then.

Best regards.
