Can't open Gatekeeper

I have been using Wingate for a few years, and I've just upgraded to 6.01. All installed OK, but when I try to log into gatekeeper it lets me enter my username and password and then vanishes from the screen never to return.

I can't configure anything!

Please help.

PS I'm using Win 2000 if it matters - but Wingate is the only thing running on the machine apart from my DSL modem.

Hi,

This is a known issue with certain 6.0.1 installations. What you need to do is create a folder called "DLL Cache" off your WinGate installation. Then, copy the .dll files from Program Files\Qbik Licensing into "DLL Cache".

That should resolve the problem. Normally, this would be done automatically for you by GateKeeper when it logs in (So you can do licensing remotely, etc.) but on some systems this does cause a problem.

This has been resolved and will be included in the next maintenance release.
