A few day later i upgraded to Wingate 6.0.1.995 (from 5.2.3)...
After that time, i can't install updates from windowsupdate site. I can connect, search for "to be installed" patches, but when i try to download it, i receive una error...
What can i do?
- Windows XP Professional
- Wingate 6.0.1.995 sharing i dial-up connection
- Pureisight plug-in
- KAV Antivirus plug-in
Thanks, Paolo.

What is the error you recieve? How is tha client machine connecting out through WinGate, NAT, direct proxy WGIC etc?!

The client machine connects directly through proxy.
The error seems to be a timeout error, i mean that after a while the client trying download the update gives a "non successfull operation" message (no number... only a text message).
On gatekeeper there are requests of the file to downloads... but after few seconds the file dissapear from client activities...
I tryied using NAT and everything is ok... but for my situation is not the solution, cause i cannot set to use NAT every time.
Thanks,
Paolo.

This is probably a caching issue in that case. Try purging the Cache and then try again. If this works, then you can set up a filter in the Cache properties to NOT cache requests for 'windowsupdate'.

Neil
