Hi Omar
You can open the WinGate Client applet and select the applications tab.
Here is you add the Outlook.exe and select "Local Access" as the type of access. This way the WinGate Internet client will not affect or control this application, and it may stop this error.
Try it and let us know how you get on.

Hello,
I'm having the same problem. As soon as I start Outlook, it just errors out, as described in Omar's message.
I've tried the "local access" setting, but there has been no improvement. The only way I get access to work is by toggling the WGIC.
I'm running Wingate and WGIC v6.04
Thanks
Ian

OOps. Thought I had it fixed by putting outlook in System Applications instead of User Applications. However the Outlook crash has now Reoccurred :-(

I'm experiencing the exact same problem. Outlook 2003 on client with exchange on windows SBS 2003. EVery time I start Outlook with the WGIC enabled, it crashes. Putting Outlook.exe into User/System application and setting it to local did not help.
I have Office SP2 installed.
