I am looking for a product that provides SMTP proxy capability.
I would like to configure it to accept mail from exactly one host and forward mail to exactly one SMTP server.
That is the only functionality that I need.
Is WinGate appropriate for this purpose?
Please let me know your opinion on how easy it would be to set up WinGate to do this, the WinGate SMTP proxy feature, and the WinGate upgrade process.
Thank you,

This would be fairly simplpe to achieve in WinGate 6.x. As the SMTP server allows for tighter configuration than the SMTP proxy. The restriction on recieving from only one domain would be done via policies, and the forwarding on to one SMTP server is as simple as filling out the appropriate edit control.
Upgrading can vary depending on what version you are upgrading from. Version 6 has a new licencing / activation process that you will need to go through, but its all wizard based so nice and straight forward.

Neil
