allowing spoof attempt

Mar 08 08 2:56 pm

Hi guys,

We just found out in the firewall pane that there's an ip address that keeps spoof attempt -> 192.168.30.10, and we found out also that it's from our modem as it is the server ip address as shown on their satellite software, it's like a "wake up" thing.

It keeps on appearing every less than a minute in the firewall pane. And it uses port 9876 and uses TCP protocol. I already tried allowing it in the Extended Networking -> Port Security -> Connections from the Internet = TCP and after restarted the WinGate. The spoof attempt just stop by a minute and comes back again with the same IP address and port and the same destination IP 203.189.14.190 which is our
GILAT's IP Address in our network connection but on a different port i.e. 2931, 2715, 2544, 2427, 2236, 2088, etc.

How can we allow that specific Ip address 192.168.30.10 since it's part of our ISP.?

Thanks.

Hi

I'd recommend just disable the option "block spoofed sender". It's due to the fact that your external interface is receiving packets with a private IP for the source address destined to a public IP.

Are you using non-private IP addresses on your LAN?
