Is port 808 required for browser authentication (java)?

I can get it working internally, but not through the firewall. Looks like the browser applet is sending traffic on port 808. Is there anyway around this besides letting port 808 through my firewall? Thanks.

No, your Remote Control Service needs to be able to communicate with the Java login to authenticate the user. Have you considered using NTLM?
